Another great one! Dont feel bad if you miss a week of podcasting, I would never even think of doing another before things slowed down!

Okay, I had to answer your question from last week about the secret pal swaps. I got totally stiffed by my "secret pal" in the swap I did last year through the widely-known "SP." I sent out great packages and am in fact good blogging friends now with my recipient, but the person who sent to me dropped off the face of the earth right when the big "reveal" package was due. I emailed the coordinator and never heard a thing. They're supposed to have "angels" who come fill in like messengers of the fiber gods when someone is unable to keep up their end of the bargain... but I was destined to SP purgatory. What a bummer! I am a fairly mature person but I tell you, this sent me into the doldrums for weeks. I could not believe that someone would join up and then not fulfill their obligation. I am very sensitive about stuff like that and was even more bummed when the coordinator never responded to my many emails to find out what had happened. At first I was worried that something happened to this person, but as time passed I think they are just a big stinker. And if they're listening to your podcast, please tell them that the laws of karma ensure that all their skeins will be full of knots and all their needles will be bent until they make right. ;)
