Hi Sharon, I listen to your podcast often and want to tell you that you do a wonderful job doing your thing and talking about the knitting content that is important to you. I laughed when you talked about someone listening to the podcast while at the endodontist, because I was at the dentist dealing with a root canal while listening to this episode. I checked out your bags in your website and they are CUTE!!!! My favorite is the Melly bag. Keep designing and podcasting please - this is good stuff!

Sharon, thanks for another great show. Have you listened to crl with Vickie Howell. The entire show was about submitting projects. Guest, Adina Klein (Editor in Chief of Vogue Knitting & Knit.1 Magazines. She gives advice on getting knitwear designs published and what editors are looking for when it comes to submissions, style and execution. So don't give up re-submit again and again. Sometimes they are looking for a specific theme. If not now maybe next time.

Hi Sharon
I've just stumbled on your podcast and love it! I'm catching up on past episodes. I'm rediscovering knitting after years off the needles.

Hey Sharon,

Cute bag, but the longer I live the more I realise so much hinges on timing and luck a.k.a. being in the right place at the right time i.e. having exactly the type of project Knitty needed when your pattern landed on their desk. Onward and upward. BTW the way you were describing of tying a scarf is called 'Chimney Sweep Style' according to a stylish friend of mine. Think Dick Van Dyke in Mary Poppins! Also, I just finished a scarf and worked out the perfect length by looking in a clothing catalogue. All their scarves are 175 cm, so that's what I did and it's a perfect length. Love the podcast, don't be despondent, you have lots of fans.
