Hi there, I'm a first time listener and will propably go back & listen to some of your previous podcasts as I did enjoy it. You sound pretty discouraged about your trip - please don't be! I'm a CA native transplanted in Southeastern VA - and I miss home! Try north of LA - so much prettier closer to SB & Lompoc & Santa Ynez. Don't give up!! :)
First time listener and had to tell you about The Grove knit shop in San Diego--it's my fav. Susan is the owner and she's great. Check out The Grove on Ravelry. My sis just moved to NM (where I live) from SD and I miss it so. Hanging out and knitting at The Grove is fab. If you go, tell Susan hello from Cheryl in NM.
